The weather these days out here is down right amazing. A comfortable 75 degrees with no humidity. It is glorious and makes me never want to experience 90+ again. Though, I doubt we’ve seen the last of the heat for the summer.

It’s always a baffling experience walking home when the sun is coming up. It’s wild because crosswalks hold no credit and street lamps seem useless. The silence is only broken by the high pitched tweets of birds, the clanging of dumpsters being shook into trucks, and the faint conversation of the fuel truck talking to the gas station manager about what their kids have been doing lately. No cars screaming down the corridor slamming on the breaks for a pedestrian that thought God was on his side. There is a lack of people yelling at one another from corner to corner. Even the homeless are quietly nestled in their respected spots until the foot traffic resumes. It’s a beautiful thing much like the calm of the sea before an epic storm.
