Long Time Round

Back from the absence is the writer. It has been crazy in Seattle for me the last couple weeks. My car started over-heating and I had to figure out whether or not to buy a new one or bite the bullet and get mine fixed. Well, I got mine fixed and I supposed now I start putting aside money for a new car when she acts up again.

As for the visitor, Nathanael is an old time friend from college and it was a good time seeing a familiar face again. It was my first try at entertaining someone in Seattle and I’ll be honest, it wasn’t to hard at all. I suppose that all depends on who it is and how much you know about them but it was a good run.

We started out going to Pike Brewery for lunch on Tuesday afternoon when he got in and ended with a trip to Dick’s burger stand. In between those events were hanging out on the Puget Sound, walking dogs, drinking a fair share of craft/micro beers, meeting up with some friends and going out for boots of beer and brats, strolling around the Seattle Art Museum, Pagliacci’s, Hot Mama’s, Royal Grinders, Brouwers Cafe, Red Mill Burger, Pike Place Public Market, the thrift store, The Summit Bar, Elysian Brewery, watching Life & Times of Tim, It’s Always Sunny In Philidelphia, and The Trailer Park Boys, and many more that I can’t think of right now.

In the end it was a great time even when we did just hang out in the apartment. It was interesting to see what someone I had known in Anderson, IN thought of my new residence. Good times.
